On Saturday, May 25th at 11 AM at Mechanicsville Christian Center just outside of Richmond, Virginia, Ascent College will celebrate the graduating class of 2024. The class of 2024 includes students completing bachelor, associate, diploma, and certificate programs, including over twenty men and women from our partner site churches in Ghana, and students completing the two-year residential ministry training program at the Potomac School of Leadership.
We are excited and honored to welcome Rev. Ron Johnson as our 2024 commencement speaker. Rev. Johnson is an ordained minister with more than forty years of experience leading churches and schools in the U.S.A. and training leaders in more than seventy nations. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor and Overseer of One Church, a multi-site church in Central Florida, and President of One School of the Arts. As well as his ministry responsibilities, he serves on multiple ministry and business boards. He is married to Sandy, and they have four married sons, four beautiful daughters-in-law, and seventeen adorable grandchildren. Rev. Johnson served as the first President of Ascent College (Bethel Bible Institute). His leadership and vision continue to live on as Ascent College has expanded to fifty partner sites and pastors in the U.S. and abroad. We look forward to the words of encouragement and commissioning Rev. Johnson will speak over our class of 2024 graduates.
