Ascent College offers rolling admissions, so students can join us year-round! We do have registration cutoffs for each term to ensure students and staff have enough time to properly prepare for academic study.

Please submit a two-page, double-spaced essay that thoughtfully reflects on your spiritual journey.
Applicants are reminded that all essays must be original and the work of the applicant themselves. The use of AI-generated content or any form of unauthorized assistance is strictly prohibited.
Your essay should address the following components:
•A detailed account of your personal Christian faith and spiritual development
•A discussion of your favorite Bible verse, including its significance in your life and faith journey
•A summary of your ministry experience, both past and present
•Your expectations and long-term goals in Christian ministry
•A clear explanation of why you have chosen to pursue your education at Ascent College
If you are applying as an audit student, you do not need to write an essay. Please upload a document stating that you are applying to audit.
If you are applying to the Potomac School of Leadership, please include why you are interested in this program. You can learn more about this residential program for 18-24 year olds here: https://www.potomacschoolofleadership.org/.
✅ Submit Any Official Transcripts
We must receive an official high school transcript(s) or official record of a high school equivalency diploma (GED) with test scores and/or any official transcripts from all accredited postsecondary institutions you have attended. Transcripts must be directly mailed from an electronic clearinghouse (i.e., prospective students may not send personally) or mailed to Cori Williams directly from the school in a sealed and stamped official envelope to:

✅ Submit Two References
You must submit two references, including one required pastoral reference. Our Director of Admissions will request the email addresses of your selected parties, as they will receive an email invitation to submit their feedback.
