HOW ARE YOU INVOLVED IN MINISTRY?

In addition to providing counseling services at my local church, I also regularly facilitate trauma, grief, and loss groups. My most recent small group, “Navigating Loss,” ended just a few weeks ago.

WHAT IS A FUN FACT ABOUT YOURSELF?

I had worked as an accountant at Georgetown University for fifteen years when God called me into the field of counseling! A visiting missionary prophesied over me, and my life hasn’t been the same since. Needless to say, I had to go back to school and go through rigorous training to become a Licensed Professional Counselor. The journey was both challenging and rewarding at the same time. Many times, I would question whether I misheard what the missionary told me.

WHAT WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT DO YOU HAVE FOR OUR STUDENTS?

Never stop learning. Get to know yourself. Entrust your future to the all-knowing Abba Father. Enjoy the journey. Make a difference. Live in the light of eternity.
