Interested in exploring ministry implications in digital space, the unique aspects of online culture, and the urgent need for digital hospitality as you make a case for digital environments as destinations of missional engagement? Take the first course in our newly launched Digital Ministry certificate program – MIS107 Introduction to Digital Missiology in Fall A. This course covers a broad overview of basic ministry implications in digital space, including anthropology, community development, and digital ecclesiology. This course has also been approved as a possible substitute for a required general ministry course. Current students are encouraged to speak to their academic advisor if interested in taking the course. Completing the certificate program is not required!

Register for MIS105 Missions in the Local Church (Equipping for the Harvest) taught by Dr. Robert Shipley from AG World Missions. Interested prospective and current students are welcome to take this course as a stand-alone option or possibly a substitute for a required general ministry course in their degree plan. Auditors are also welcome! (Note: Trip details to be determined. All travel costs are to be fully covered by the student and are not included in tuition.)

The new Digital Ministry certificate program courses continue in Fall B with MIN293 Digital Cultures and Community, which is also approved as a possible substitute for a required general ministry course. This course explores how culture is formed online and the cosmology of digital environments, introducing digital cultures and UdPGs (e.g., gamer and fandom cultures etc). Students will learn practices for digital exegesis.
